Bichette and Semien each recorded three hits, with Semien smashing his first homer as a Met, while Alvarez launched two home runs of his own. Nolan McLean was dealing, practically throwing a wiffle ball with the amount of spin he generated, keeping Giants hitters completely off balance. He carried a perfect game into the sixth inning before the Giants finally cracked the code, knocking him out and ending the bid.
