Temple Station deputies got a little help from an unexpected source during a recent early morning shift… The Temple Station training officer and his trainee conducted a pedestrian stop on a subject holding a sign that read: “Law Enforcement Training in Progress.” Well… he wasn’t wrong. Turns out the sign was pretty accurate, because the stop quickly turned into a real-world training opportunity. The subject was ultimately arrested for drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and multiple outstanding warrants. We always say training never stops at Temple Station—but this time, the suspect brought his own sign to prove it. Always training. Always learning.
