𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲. The Canadian World Team Tryouts begin—and Prophet and I will be one of 80+ teams in the Large Dog division. At just 2 years, 9 months old, Prophet is one of the fastest, most talented dogs I’ve ever run…and I’ve run some incredible dogs. He’s genetically gifted. A thinker. And obsessed with the game. But there’s been a problem. Dirt. We’ve struggled to qualify on it. And this weekend… every round is on dirt. That’s the reality of training on your home surface. We train on turf. We run our best on turf. It’s comfortable. Predictable. And that was the problem. So 5 months ago, I made a decision: If we want a real shot… we have to change the environment, not lower the standard.
