Monaco showed resilience and quality to secure a top-10 finish, downing direct rival Barcelona 93-86. The visitors raced to a 0-8 lead and stayed ahead throughout the first quarter, which finished 18-26. A trio of scores from Elie Okobo brought Monaco closer, and the hosts edged in front, 46-44, at the interval. Quickfire triples from Kevin Punter helped Barca briefly back ahead, but Kevarrius Hayes scored seven points in a row and Monaco led 72-67 with 10 minutes left. An 11-2 run gave the hosts a double-digit lead, and five fast points from Dario Brizuela weren’t enough for Barca to come back.
