Ted DiBiase said Sensational Sherri was "tough as nails" and that there were men in wrestling she could have beaten up, speaking on Everybody's Got a Pod.
"Sherri was delightful. I thought she played her part as that manager very well. Thought she did a hell of a job."
"Here's the other thing that I told a lot of new guys that would come into the business. They'd ask, 'What about Sherri Martel?' I said, 'You just don't want to get on the wrong side. She's tough as nails. And I think there's a few guys in this business who she could just beat the sh*t out of.'"
"Likable? Oh my gosh, yeah, she was likable."
DiBiase said he sometimes had to dial Sherri back because she wanted to get too involved in his matches: "The flip side of that is she had the talent to do it."
When asked why Vince McMahon paired them since DiBiase didn't need a mouthpiece: "I have no idea. I know I didn't need her to talk for me."
