Peter Rosenberg delivered a lengthy defense on Cheap Heat of his opinion that wrestlers should stop doing suicide dives.
Rosenberg tweeted after watching Iyo Sky land face first on a botched dive on Raw: "This is why I tell whoever I can at Evolve and even on the main roster, don't bother with these dives. They are all risk, no reward. If you successfully hit a suicide dive in 2026, no one cares."
Bayley responded "Shut it, Pete." Brody King wrote "Don't tell me what to do." Chris Hero posted a mocking version of the tweet replacing "dives" with "bumps." Rosenberg said he confirmed Brody King was joking via text. He DM'd Bayley but had not heard back.
Rosenberg pushed back on the idea that he is just a fan like everyone else: "I was so much of a fan that I made it my life's mission to be a part of the business. I did call 25 matches for $25 at indie shows in 2007. You think I just showed up and WWE one day put me on camera at WrestleMania?"
