As a vegan, that might sound weird but if you think about it, do we have to love someone in order to think that they shouldn’t be abused, tortured, and killed? There’s plenty of people I don’t love but I don’t wish death upon them, or want them to suffer, so the same goes for the animals. It doesn’t have to be a loving relationship to treat them with respect.
