A viral livestream moment is sparking conversation after influencer Clavicular was approached by a group of trans women who pointed out who they feel should really get the credit for his looksmaxxing brand.
The moment, caught on camera on Saturday (4 April) during Clavicular’s ongoing 30-day livestream on the platform Kick, started with one of the women confidently telling him they were “mogging” him, as well as claiming trans women were the original pioneers of “looksmaxxing,” the online trend centred around optimising appearance through fitness, skincare, and cosmetic enhancements.
The interaction, captured and shared from his Kick stream, quickly spread across social media.
Rather than pushing back, Clavicular appeared to engage with the conversation, acknowledging overlap between looksmaxxing culture and online trans communities. While the term itself has more visible roots in more controversial internet subcultures like incels, the women framed it as something trans communities...
