Her hit track ‘Pink Pony Club’ was used as a wake-up call for astronauts aboard Artemis II on Saturday morning (4 April), a moment which was captured during a NASA livestream as the crew began their day inside the Orion spacecraft. The moment didn’t quite hit the emotional peak that fans, or the astronauts for that matter, might have expected. The track cut off just one minute in, right before the iconic chorus, prompting playful disappointment from Commander Reid Wiseman, who joked that the crew had been “eagerly awaiting” the best part. Wiseman’s comment prompted laughter that could be heard over the stream, and NASA staff responded over comms with a promise to “try again next time” before wishing the team a good morning and diving into the day's schedule.
