Many people have reached out to NBC 5 Responds to share their frustrations with grocery store digital coupons in the past six months, the majority complaining of struggles getting the coupons to apply to their purchases. At that time, we told you about newly introduced legislation that would require Illinois grocery stores to provide a paper coupon equivalent for any coupon offered. It was introduced by State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr (D). Now, the bill has moved out of committee and is headed to the house floor for a vote.
