The Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon compresses hypercar engineering into a wrist-sized system built from 578 components. At its core is a fully functional miniature W16 engine block automaton, modeled after the Bugatti Chiron’s 8.0L quad-turbocharged powertrain. Activate the mechanism, and the crankshaft rotates. Sixteen pistons fire in sequence. Twin turbochargers spin. All powered purely by mechanical energy stored in the movement. The entire “engine” is suspended within the case using a shock-absorber system inspired by the Chiron’s suspension, allowing the movement to physically float and absorb motion.
