Fearless #Optimism Olive Pickering and McLean St Juste are two of the most #Inspiring individuals that I have ever known. Even with #death’s bony arm resting on their shoulders, they squeezed every ounce of #Enjoyment out of each day — right until their final breath. McLean was diagnosed with stage 4 #cancer, around his 59th birthday. Visiting him, in his #Hospital room, about 36 hours before he died, he was still cracking #Jokes and making everyone laugh. My #Mom, a #Friend and I visited Sister Pickering at #Home, in her final year, I believe. She told us that every morning, when she awoke, she opened her eyes and said, “Hello #God.
