This is a topic that really hurts my heart to say, but unfortunately there ARE deceitful individuals out there who are masquerading as widows/widowers trying to scam people on dating apps. 💔 I don’t know if y’all have seen the show Leanne that came out last year on Netflix, but unfortunately a similar thing happened to Leanne’s sister in the show–and yes that is a show, but it’s an antidote that is unfortunately rooted in reality for many individuals, especially women over a certain age, who are getting back into dating after a long period of not doing so. Not everyone you meet on a dating app is lying, BUT it’s important to be aware that even when it comes to sensitive topics, such as losing a partner, that people are willing to lie just about anything for the purpose of meeting, and potentially scamming, someone on a dating app. #DatingApps #DatingAdvice #RelationshipCoach #Widow #Widower #Leanne
