train this way because at this stage of life, strength is stewardship.
I’m no longer working out for noise, trends, or comparison.
I train with thought, with prayer, and with purpose.
I choose movements that build from the ground up vice versa, squat, hip thrusts, split work, hinges, controlled lifts, steady walking because they support how I live every day: standing, walking, lifting, balancing, carrying responsibility with grace.
At my age, training is about:
• Keeping my body strong and responsive
• Supporting my joints and posture
• Maintaining balance and coordination
• Protecting my back and hips
• Preserving energy, mobility, and independence
This way of training allows me to move well, recover well, and remain capable not just now, but in the years ahead.
I don’t rush my workouts.
I don’t chase exhaustion.
I choose intention over intensity, consistency over excitement.
My body is a gift from God.
