🌟 Last night was a celebration of community and resilience for Black women entrepreneurs at BDC Square in #Toronto for the Raise and Rise Connection Series organized by Spring Activator. 💰Here’s a thought-provoking fact: Black entrepreneurs receive less than 1% of venture capital funding in North America. Yet, the talent and innovation in the Black community are vast and inspiring. Imagine the change we could drive if funding were more inclusive. 🤗Thank you to Allison Gibson , Neema Rimber , Spring, BDC and Sevrine Labelle for hosting us.
