VMMC can reduce a man’s risk of contracting HIV by up to 60%. Men who undergo circumcision are less likely to contract other STIs such as syphilis and herpes. It also benefits your sexual partners by reducing their exposure to the human papillomavirus (HPV), a major cause of cervical cancer.
