I know I am disruptive. I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. I advocate for better fertility care because (in my opinion) current fertility care is not personalized, patient-oriented or empowering. Fertility MDs in respectable hospitals claim to “not believe in reproductive immunology” (FYI - it’s a science - not the boogie man). Patients in top clinics are left to wait in waiting rooms (or pant-less in stirrups) for hours. Communication is on a “need-to-know basis” (and, most of the time it is very much needed to know). My stance is often dismissed as “disrespectful” or “ungrateful” or (worst of all) “uninformed.” I’m none of the above 👆🏻. I have the utmost respect for medicine, science and MDs. But, when battling infertility, you’re supposed to always “be grateful” for any and all care that you receive (even if that care isn’t tailored to you or your needs).
