I had a very different birthday this year. No big party, no planning, but yet it unfolded in ways I didn’t expect. Surprise gatherings and intentional time with people who showed up in ways that mattered. Growing up as the peacemaker at home, I realised that somewhere along the way, I forgot about myself. This year, I found my way back and for the first time in a long time, I feel at home within myself. I’ve learned to let go of who I thought I had to be, and am building a life that actually feels aligned. These are the lessons that shaped me.
