Can’t believe it’s been a year since the opening of @margaretmarketsg and even longer since conceptulising and building it. Reimagining it from a grey and empty market to the modern day marketplace it is today. Inspired by the buzzling Spanish food markets that is always full of life and vibrancy, but curated with local entrepreneurs. Playing homage to its origin as a wet market, now conserved by URA, in the very unique first statelite town of sg. Shunning away from building another regular mall.
