I’m a failure as a mother and a wife — these were the words that kept repeating in my head. I was just playing with my toddler and he decided to get the puto that he calls MUFFIN (It’s rice flour bread with cheese on top, not coarse but actually really sticky). We were snugged in the sofa, I hugged him and closed my eyes, next thing I knew, I was asleep and got awaken by my husband calling my name. I was in shock — all the puto’s gone, it looked like my toddler had an idea to play with it as playdough — in the carpet. I was lost for words. I felt disappointed to myself — I shouldn’t have let myself nap. How irresponsible of me! How will I remove this? We cannot afford to replace the carpet. The puto’s deep in the carpet, very sticky and purple everywhere. I’m not the best cleaner in the world, not even a decent one, and I’m not proud of it.
