When I became a mom for the first time…
I thought being a good mom meant doing everything myself.😩
I didn’t ask for help.
I didn’t rest.
I didn’t slow down.
And honestly, I wore my exhaustion like a badge of honor.🥺
But behind closed doors, I was burnt out, overwhelmed, and losing myself.
And the worst part?
I thought that was just normal motherhood.
Like it had to be hard to be real.
It took me a while to learn that caring for myself wasn’t selfish—
it was essential.
That softness didn’t mean I was weak—
it meant I was finally choosing me.
So now, I’m doing something different.👛
That’s why I’m starting this series:
The A to Z of Soft Mom Self-Care.
30 days. 26 letters. 1 softer version of you.🌿🤌🏾
We start tomorrow with A.
Follow along if you’ve been pouring from an empty cup for too long. 💆🏽♀️
