This week at the Talented Teen Club (TTC), our students are focusing on powerful life skills: setting S.M.A.R.T. goals, Resume Writing, Effective communication, and learning the art of hair styling. Why do these work together? Because success starts with both vision and self-confidence. Our students are learning how to create S.M.A.R.T. goals — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound — so they can turn their dreams into clear action plans for their future. At the same time, they are developing practical skills in hair styling and personal care, helping them strengthen their hygiene routines while discovering creative talents that could lead to gainful employment, entrepreneurship, or a lifelong passion. Our Mentors believe empowerment happens when young people gain both life skills and confidence in themselves.
