Here’s how to install hardwood floors yourself 💪 My home has come such a long way, but this is the craziest transformation yet (can you believe that carpet 🤢) We installed Engineered Hardwood from @califloors Meritage collection in the color Carmel Valley Oak and I can’t say enough good things about it! I’ll admit that I had no say in the selection (that was all Kylie + Sherry), but they did damn good. I was worried that the wood was gonna be too rustic, but it’s perfect. The premium white oak top layer + the natural knots, mixed with the extra wide and long planks, give it the perfect balance of rustic/modern. Our home feels so open and fresh 🥺 Every plank is protected by a safe-for-the-home aluminum oxide finish to prevent scratches and they’re manufactured in a way to get 4x more flooring from a 🌳 A special thanks to my friends @kyledidit @thebuchaus @theweekendbuilder @dawson.diy because without them I would’ve been in over my head.
