Here's my crazy DIY origin story (in full) ⤵️ It's the year 2020, and I just married Kylie. We made the boneheaded decision to immediately buy a 150-year-old house. And wouldn't ya know it, on day 1, both the washer & dryer decided to call it quits. We didn't have the money to replace them or pay someone to fix up the gross laundry room. So... we dove headfirst into this insane DIY project to renovate our laundry room ALL BY OURSELVES. I didn't even know which end of a drill was up. But hey... I was about to find out. We headed to homedepot, bought our first set of tools, rented a truck, and boom! I loaded up the old washer & dryer, hauled 'em to the dump, and found a cheap used set on some online marketplace. Now, the "fun" began. Multiple pours of self-leveling concrete? Yeah, guilty as charged. We made so many mistakes it's not even funny. We pushed through the self-doubt, rented a manual tile cutter from homedepot (which, by the way, I learned wasn't meant for large porcel...
