Today is the last day I am 37.
And this goodbye… feels heavy in the most beautiful way.
Because 37 wasn’t just a year, it was a reckoning.
It was the year I lost things I thought were permanent love, security, home, safety, even a version of myself I thought I couldn’t live without.
It was also the year I gained things no one can take away truth, courage, clarity, and the kind of strength that’s born in fire.
This time last year, I had no idea I’d be fighting for my peace in courtrooms, seeking shelter for my child and myself, or rebuilding my business and body from the ground up. I had no idea I’d stare fear in the face and choose to live anyway.
But here I am.
Still here. Still healing. Still becoming.
37 tested me.
But it didn’t break me.
It revealed me.
I learned that you can lose almost everything and still be rich in purpose. That silence doesn’t mean surrender it means sacred. That even in chaos, God is still speaking. That sometimes your survival is the miracle.
