Skydiving the Whitsunday Islands (70+ island chain on the Southern edge of the Great Barrier Reef) has been my favorite jump to date. Extra long free fall. Unpopulated national park with tropical forests, islands & beaches. Because it was a clear and sunny day right between 2 thunderstorms (just before I got caught in the flash flood, lol. see earlier post) visibility was all the way to the horizon. Jumping out of a plane on a clear day was the ideal way to appreciate the magnitude of the whole island chain which was only a small part of the GBR.
