If it still works, why replace it?
New isn’t always better for our wallets or the planet. I know a lot of things today are designed with planned obsolescence to keep us buying, but (if I can help it) I choose to repair and keep my stuff as long as possible. There’s a real joy in using things for years, even decades. Being mindful about what we consume isn’t just about sustainability, it’s been financially freeing. I know a lot of what I own isn’t 25-30 years old + but I started my post college life in 2015/2016 and my hope is to keep these things for many many more years 🥰 #underconsumption #frugal #budgeting #spendingless #consumerism #sustainability
