Social media is NOT real! Japan was absolutely incredible and we are 100% going back but please be aware only the absolute highlights are being posted. Here are some truths 👇🏽 1. We went to Japan in spring and it snowed ALL day on day 1 of fuji. We didn’t really pack for snow so our shoes got soaked. 😆Also i’m clumsy and slipped on the ice + fell countless times. 2. The deer are SO polite until you run out of crackers and they want more. 3. We woke up at 5 AM everyday to beat the crowds. Every cherry blossom was surrounded by cameras and the most famous temples were bursting at the seams by mid morning. 4. The crowds are insane at the most famous TT spots. Is it worth it? Meh no. Every minute in japan is precious and we didn’t want to wait when there was something else around the corner. Tip with planning: Build in some room for error.
