Highlight of our Japan trip so far! 🇯🇵✨ 📍 Lake Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko The behind-the-scenes of this shot: We stayed with the sweetest family, who not only made us feel at home but also let us borrow their bikes for free! We woke up at 4:30 AM and had a 2-mile ride in 28-degree weather, and then it started snowing when we arrived ❄️😂 Fuji is notoriously shy, often hiding behind clouds, but we waited over 45 minutes until the sky finally cleared. We picked Fujikawaguchiko over Hakone, mainly for these stunning lake views of Fuji, and we have zero regrets. As always, I am a big proponent that travel DOES NOT have to be expensive.
