Happy Founders Day to my beloved Delta Sigma Theta. Every single day, the mission to make the world a better place challenges me. The work is heavy. The responsibility is real. But quitting has never been an option. One hundred thirteen years ago, twenty two visionary women chose purpose over comfort and went on a mission to make the world a little greater. In doing so, they founded Delta Sigma Theta. I often reflect on the barriers they faced, the resistance they pushed through, and the courage it took to believe in a vision bigger than themselves. Because of their sacrifice, their brilliance, and their unwavering commitment to service, I am able to walk boldly in my own purpose today. I am forever grateful for their vision and hard work.
