VINEYARD ICON vineyard_icon 🖤 Yesterday, I unexpectedly came across the program from my dad’s funeral (and even that’s a story for another day). I didn’t even know I still had it, especially since he passed when I was in high school. Since I found it, I’ve been sitting and reflecting on the timing. Because a week from that moment, I’ll be launching Vineyard Icon: a platform to honor the legacy of those who’ve inspired me my whole life, to give back to the community that shaped me, and to invest in the next generation of changemakers. I put my personal savings into this to self fund when this was just an idea. When I was told to not do it and wait by countless people because of the current climate and timing. Instead, I didn’t listen and spent my weekends saying no to things I’d say yes to, to focus on this. My dad was iconic. My original icon.
