It’s National Quitters Day! Today, the second Friday in January, is typically referred to as the NQD. It’s the day when people give up on, and walk away from their New Year’s resolutions. This unofficial holiday recognizes and acknowledges the common struggle to maintain goals that people set for themselves, like eating healthier, saving money, stopping procrastinating, exercising more, loosing weight etc. One of the reasons why this happens is ‘Resolution Fatigue’. People often set resolutions that are too ambitious or lack a concrete plan for actualization, leading to motivation fading quickly. So this post, like this day, is a reminder that it’s common to falter, and I am encouraging YOU to either recommit to YOUR goals or set new, more achievable ones. Are you a walker? You’re either walking into a future assured or walking away from a destiny that could have been. Quit the things that keep you holding you back. Keep Walking… Forward. Happy National Quitters Day.
