A Cease & Desist is crazy😒 Digging deep in the archives for this footage but back in 2017 is when I first launched SKNY DIP Cosmetics and then had to immediately shut it down. Lesson #1: TRADEMARK SEARCH!! Before you go getting your brand name printed on everything, launching the site and social media, ensure you own the name. You can also file for “intent to use” as a precaution while you get sorted but please double check the USPTO database. Fortunately for me, it was “caught” early so the loss wasn’t too bad, but I still had to discard all printed material, packaging, and change my LLC, EIN, social handles, and domain/website.
