They would also waste very little time getting on the scoreboard. Within the first ten minutes, they were up 1-0 with a goal by Felipe. It started when Atlanta couldn't get control of the ball and Austin picked up the loose possession, and then it was a race down the field. Felipe passed it to Ethan Finlay, who was on the sideline and racing towards goal, who then crossed the ball back across the net to Felipe again for a clinical header that hit the back of the net. Ethan Finlay then got a goal of his own in the 17th minute. Jon Gallagher, who assisted in that goal, had the ball on the outside, and when he found an opening, he crossed the ball to the center of the goal for Hoesen to dummy it and allow Ethan Finlay to be the one to power it in.
