I JUST WANNA PUBLISH MY DATAAAAAAA 😭😭 Why must reviewers be so tough!! 🥺 I swear I did it all nicely and correctly and spent YEARS collecting this data 📊 asking me to recollect or collect additional data is just insane 🤯 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ And I don’t think we overshot the journal we want to publish in either 😕 I guess we just had some bad luck in how critical the reviewers are 🤷🏼‍♀️ but not to worry! I think I know a solution in which I won’t have to go back into the lab to recollect more data 🤓 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ We’ll just tell them it’s out of scope and not a realistic ask 😊 Some things can absolutely be done within a time frame to resubmit 👩‍🔬 but often, creating an entirely new dataset is not 😣 And it’s completely fair to call out the impossibilities of such an ask! 🤓 and has worked for me in the past! 🤩 So don’t let reviewers bulldoze over you! 😃 saying no is an option!! ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ #phd #reviewers #science #publishing #peerreview
