I can’t believe I’ve JUST had this realization 🤯 Like how did I not see the similarities before?! 🫣 It all just feels so incredibly obvious to me now 😂 And I can’t unsee it 👀 nor can I stop thinking about it 😅 So I thought I’d share my experience with you all to see whether you agree or not 😃 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I’m also very curious to see how many of you actually have experience with both techniques and can be fair judges of this statement 😅 They’re really two very different things! 👩‍🔬 Flow cytometry is a method of labeling cells with fluorescent antibodies to see which markers they express 🪩 whereas ICP-MS measures trace elements in samples 🧪 It can measure almost the entire periodic table 🤩 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ Both are incredibly cool techniques that can tell you specific details about really small things 😍 Both techniques are fairly automated processes too 😊 Yet both techniques require you to NEVER leave the machine in case something goes terribly wrong and ruins your whole experiment 😭...
