Slide number 3 is why some articles don’t get published for a year or more even after they’re done 😂🙈 But I did learn so much from this process! 😊 Mostly to stand up to your supervisors when publishing for your PhD 🤓 You’re on a tight timeline and while they would loooove to publish everything high impact and you’re proud of the work you’ve done 👩‍🔬 spending more than a year to get something published it just a waste of time 🫢 it’s very likely that if one high impact journal doesn’t want your article and doesn’t recommend a different high impact journal, it’s not going to get published high impact 😅 That doesn’t mean your work isn’t valuable or won’t get published at all, it just isn’t at a high impact journal kinda stage yet 😊 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ And sometimes you need a supervisor who steps in and tells the editor of a journal not to be so harsh 🧑‍💻 because they are not that high impact of a journal and can’t expect us to do years worth of extra work to publish with them 🧫 if we wou...
