Would you really trust a result that worked immediately on the first try? 😜 Like something feels off here 😂 Why are you working? 👩‍🔬 which then leads into questions like… wait am I actually a genius?! 🤓 Did I just figure something out?! 🤩 Only for the experiment to fail the next time 🙈 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I think it only happened to me once that my experiment worked the first time 🤓 AAAND gave me the result I was hoping for 👩‍🔬 it might have been a simple qPCR 🧬 but those can also go very wrong very easily 😅 And to my greatest surprise this experiment kept working and giving the same result each time I repeated it 😲 Literally nothing else during my PhD seemed to work 🤣 but I did have that one thing 🥰 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ Unfortunately that one thing was one of the first experiments I did during my PhD and it gave me a lot of false confidence that things were gonna go smoothly 😂 I guess that’s the bias of a first year PhD student 🙈 But I did a lot more experiments since then and I am NOT bias...
