Would you really trust a result that worked immediately on the first try? 😜 Like something feels off here πŸ˜‚ Why are you working? πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ which then leads into questions like… wait am I actually a genius?! πŸ€“ Did I just figure something out?! 🀩 Only for the experiment to fail the next time πŸ™ˆ β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ I think it only happened to me once that my experiment worked the first time πŸ€“ AAAND gave me the result I was hoping for πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ it might have been a simple qPCR 🧬 but those can also go very wrong very easily πŸ˜… And to my greatest surprise this experiment kept working and giving the same result each time I repeated it 😲 Literally nothing else during my PhD seemed to work 🀣 but I did have that one thing πŸ₯° β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ Unfortunately that one thing was one of the first experiments I did during my PhD and it gave me a lot of false confidence that things were gonna go smoothly πŸ˜‚ I guess that’s the bias of a first year PhD student πŸ™ˆ But I did a lot more experiments since then and I am NOT bias...
