I know the requirements for graduating with a PhD vary widely from university to university 🔀 I just wanted to share my story and my experience with all of you 😊 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ Since my recent post about thinking publications shouldn’t be necessary for graduating with a PhD 🎓 drew such a wide range of views from all of you 🤓 I wanted to share what my experience was with having to publish as a PhD student 👩‍🔬 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I know from my stories that I was on the far end of the scale of number of publications needed to graduate 😅 And maybe that’s why I’m such an advocate for not needing to publish during your PhD 📑 But I can’t say that doing so many studies made me any better of a researcher than having truly focused on one issue would have made me 😅 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I studied many things but I think it could have been much more in depth on a lot of things 🧫 than I truly had the time for because I had to just publish and move on to the next thing 😕 I still think PhD’s should strive to publish ...
