I can’t restate this enough!! Do what makes YOU happy 🤩 I know a PhD is a BIG decision and I fully support you looking for advice from friends and family ☺️ but in the end it has to be YOUR decision, not someone else’s 😊 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I know there’s a lot of negativity around PhDs 🥺 and a lot of people want to tell you it’s not worth it because that’s their personal opinion or experience 😳 and I’m speaking here from the comments on my latest post about being behind in life 😬 But I disagree that just because it wasn’t worth it for some people doesn’t mean they’re not valuable degrees to hold 🎓 or that other people have a great academic experience and contribute valuable knowledge to society 🤓 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I think it’s completely fine if you don’t want to do a PhD 😁 There’s SO many opportunities in science without a PhD 👩‍🔬 and that’s great! 😃 just don’t talk down about people who do want to do one or have done one in the past 😊 Everyone has their own path and that’s what makes life ...
