Best believe I’m still bejeweled ✨ Even though my PhD took me almost 6 years to complete 😂 I can still make the whole room shimmer 🪩 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ Kinda felt like this post needed to be redone, just to emphasize that it can take some people a longer time to finish their PhD than others 😇 It really depends on your country and program 😅 For me it was supposed to be a 4 year trajectory 🧭 But c0vid hit in the middle of my second year and really held me back because we didn’t have our own lab space at the time 😰 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ With these delays I did manage to write an amazing review 🤩 buuuuut not even that could make up for the lost time of not being able to do lab work 🧫 and so I had to tag on a year and half to my contract to be able to finish all my experimental work 🧬 Luckily it was fully funded so I didn’t suffer too much financially 😮‍💨 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ But yea… that’s basically the main reason it took me so long to finish 😅 Maybe I’ll make a post next time to explain instead of putting it...
