I mean…. Whaaaaaat?? 👀 I used to think the same thing too 😂 but I have long since changed my mind on the topic 😇 Plus, being in industry has taught me that I’m in the right place for me at the moment 😊 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ I’m not saying academia doesn’t have its perks 😁 I just personally had a really rough time at the end of my PhD 😮‍💨 I was overworked and not supported and really really close to a burn out 🔥 I knew I needed to do something else afterwards because I couldn’t keep going the way I was 😅 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ And I think a part of that traumatic experience still lives within me when I hear people wanna stay in academia 😂🙈 I am happy for you!!
