I used to do the “looking over the bump” perspective when I was pregnant with the twins. It always made me giggle. I couldn’t believe what my body was capable of. Here I am, 13 years later, feeling so deeply grateful for the chance to do this all again. I truly never thought I would get to… I will say… 45 years young is very different than 32. 🙃 I’m learning to hold all the feelings of happiness, grief, joy, fear, and to make room for each of them, as they come. Often times all at once. There are so many layers to this journey. I wake up each day with an open heart and the mindset that it’s truly day by day. I can’t worry about tomorrow or yesterday. All I can do is surround us with a protective bubble of love and goodness that helps us get to the next moment. I can’t wait to meet him. To tell him all about Georgie.
