Proud is an understatement. #SuperLily was “born” when she was 2.5 years young and her journey became one of resilience, strength, courage, and well…JOY. In my journey it has been about how to raise a strong little lady who is empowered and wasn’t afraid to shout from the roof tops her differences. Because we all have differences right!? And wearing them like a badge of honor just makes us cooler 💕 So today. Lily and I are working on a project with a super special human named Max who has had 18 heart surgeries at Children’s and who’s Mom showed me a positive light in our journey. He’s directing a documentary about heart kids & parents and how we navigate and thrive in our Heart worlds. We are hoping to be a shining example to others and can’t wait for you to see!
