day 2 of Ramadan 🌙✨ went to a networking event hosted by @1871tech in Chicago and it was exactly what I needed. I didn’t plan on filming much (so this vlog is short 🥲) but the atmosphere was too good not to share. @landon20s keynote especially stuck with me. His top 3 points felt like they were pulled straight from my journal these past few weeks: 1. You can just do things. Learn it. Start it. Don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do, take the initiative yourself. 2. Action produces information. As a chronic overthinker & perfectionist, I’m always waiting to have the “perfect” plan or product before I start. But clarity doesn’t come from thinking it comes from trying, failing, and adjusting. 3. Do the work before you have the job. Especially in today’s job market. Build the projects. Develop the skills.
