The question we all ask...Whats our purpose? Its something I've had long, deep conversation about and maybe its because Im older and wiser or maybe its because of the storms I've walked through, but no matter what I've always felt such a joy and peace in helping people. I easily can spread myself thin so I go to God in prayer about where I need to put my energy and this year I had such a heavy heart to help foster children. Its an area my husband and I discuss stepping up in, and donating items and stuffed animals was a good way for us to bridge that desire. I know I cant take every child in need (even though I wish I could), but I know the power of prayer and I've seen for myself how moving it can be to receive acts of kindness from strangers and thats where I hope I can leave a lasting impact.
