When I saw that the titan arum also know as the corpse flower was blooming @jcraulstonarboretum I was a little hesitant to want to explore. As a plant lover I've known of this flower for quite sometime they are fascinating and a few facts are: - the plant's full bloom only once every seven to ten years and only lasts 24 to 36 hours. -they lack roots - called the worlds largest flower, with a bloom that can grow to more than 8 feet in height and 4 feet in diameter.  These are just a few interesting facts on this amazing flower.
