October is Infant Loss Awareness Month 💗 Before adoption became part of our story, loss did. We carried dreams of tiny hands and first cries that never came — a silence that changed us forever. That loss taught us just how sacred life and love truly are. Years later, I gave birth to our rainbow baby, Gabby exactly four years later (on the same day). She’s named after our twins, Angel and Christian (their middle names). When we opened our hearts to adoption, we did it carrying both grief and gratitude for our twin babies we never got to hold and for the children we now get to love every single day (Gabby, Jonathan, Koda and Kaia).
