I serve on the City of Surrey’s Environment and Climate Change Committee, and one thing is clear 🌱 Transit, climate action, affordability, and public safety are deeply connected. Only a small share of Surrey residents live near frequent transit 🚍 even as our population has grown by hundreds of thousands in just two decades. That gap shows up every day through overcrowded buses, long wait times, missed connections, and a system that forces people to drive 🚗 not by choice, but by necessity.
