I had the pleasure of joining a youth voting panel on CBC to dive into some of the most pressing issues facing our generation. Here are some snippets of our discussion! With youth voter turnout still trailing behind, only about 53% of 18-24 year olds voted in the last federal election, it’s more important than ever that we show up, speak up, and shape the future we want to see. It was refreshing to hear a range of perspectives from fellow young Canadians across the political spectrum; whether left, right, or somewhere in between, what matters most is that we’re thinking critically and forming our own opinions. As for me?
